I do everything on my MacBook – work, school, everything. I’ve always had two at home, usually one that stays at home and one that’s lighter for traveling. I keep all of my important files backed up on a USB flash drive because let’s face it, anything could happen in the cloud.

Recently I purchased the newer MacBook model due its lighter weight and faster processor. The only downside for me was the USB-C port, which replaced the previous USB-A port that everyone is used to.

Of course, this made it even more difficult to transfer my files between my new MacBook and my older one as the ports are completely different. The only solution was to buy accessories to make the process easier, but then I had to keep up with everything. It wasn’t easy. Now, there’s the Onite Dual USB Flash Drive to make it so much easier.

The Dual USB Flash Drive for every device

With this flash drive, there really isn’t any Mac or PC that’s not compatible. I can use the USB-C end to plug into my MacBook and store whatever necessary files onto the flash drive, then I can easily use my USB-A extension on the opposite end and take the files off onto another computer.

The dual USB flash drive also gives me great features like easier portability, just enough storage space for what I need, and a no-frills setup that enables me to quickly get the transfer done.

So, you can basically carry around any flash drive rather easily – put in your pocket, your purse, or backpack – but this dual USB flash drive comes with a simple feature that sets it apart from any other I’ve used. The ring on the end of the flash drive lets you attach it to your key ring so you don’t have to worry about keeping up with it. Forget about accidentally leaving it anywhere, because it’ll be there whenever you need it.

Perfect storage

Due to the files I work with everyday, which are mainly documents and a few photos, I don’t need a lot of storage. Plus, once I transfer my files, I delete them off the drive to save space. It may not meet everyone’s demands, but the 16GB storage on the dual USB flash drive is perfect for someone like me.

Easy to use

I’ve had USB drives that required a whole lot of steps just to put files onto them, but I no longer have that issue with this drive. Just plug it in and you’re good to go. I can also just drag-and-drop files onto it and call it a day. It really is that easy.

You can also use the drive on more modern devices that have a USB-C port. These include the Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S8, and LG G6 smartphones, plus many more.

The color

At a time in which everyone is obsessed with flashy gadgets, the dual USB flash drive meets the requirement. The nice, smooth gold color on the drive is an acceptable tone for everyone. It’s subtlety meets glam.

Final take

While it would be nice to see some increased storage, I think this dual USB flash drive is perfect for small projects or someone who relies heavily on cloud storage and doesn’t need much from an external drive. It’s a great option for those of us who have several devices with different ports as well.
